Snoring and Sleep Apnea

Snoring is a common condition for adults and may also occur in children. Snoring can be concerning if it is very loud and occurs frequently. In some cases, snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnea. People with sleep apnea actually stop breathing for periods of 10 seconds or more while they sleep. Sleep apnea is a risk factor for stroke. At Red River ENT Associates, we can diagnose and treat snoring and sleep apnea by conducting a thorough examination of your throat, mouth, and neck. If necessary, a sleep study can be conducted in the Red River Sleep Center located in the same building.
